Toronto Tai Chi - Qigong Instructor James Fitzpatrick
James started Healing Arts Centre in 1996. He received a Master
of Science degree from Samra University of Oriental medicine in
Los Angeles, California, and was certified by the National Commission
for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine as well
as the California Medical Board. He has interned at Heilongjiang
and Beijing hospitals where he studied under some of China's foremost
practitioners. James taught a 300 hour acupuncture program, as well
as Tai Chi - Qigong at The Toronto School of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, the first full-time four year college of traditional Chinese
medicine in Toronto. In his treatments, he applies acupuncture,
acupressure, chinese herbal medicine, dietary advice, and taichi-qigong
(therapeutic exercise and meditation).
